Return to the nuclear commitments?

The Iranian Foreign Ministry declares that Iran will return to all obligations of the nuclear agreement if oil exports are guaranteed and Iran has unrestricted access to these revenues.

Last Monday, an Iranian delegation arrived in Paris to discuss the details of possible financial assistance. French President Emmanuel Macron had promised Iran a loan of 15 billion US dollars to compensate for the loss of revenues from oil exports. However, France has made it a condition for the loan that Iran comply again with the 2015 nuclear treaty guidelines (JCPOA) and that the situation in the Persian Gulf relaxes.

President Rouhani said in his speech to Parliament that Iran is opposed to bilateral talks with the US. However, if the US were to lift sanctions against Iran, talks with the US could take place within the 5+1 group.

According to IRNA, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made it clear again that Iran would withdraw all steps and return to JCPoA obligations if Europe buys Iranian oil or grants Iran a loan.
