Generic Page

A Generic pages is used for all content related pages. It should be used for Legal pages, Team page, About us page and Contact us page. And here we describe how to use the it. Read through it here:

A Generic page type is a page template that serves as a base for most pages on the website.

It can be used as a template for standalone pages (for example Contact page) or it can be contextualy combined with several other pages in a group (for example within the Members part).

It is very similar to a Service page because it contains the same set of modules that can be added to a page, but contextually the Service page is used only for services, while Generic page type can be used for various different pages.

Basically, at the moment editors can use this template for all pages that are not part of Posts or Services.

What is different about this page typ is, that this time there are less mandatory fields.

The only mandatory fields are:

  • Title description
  • Description
  • Module container: can be selected based on available modules.

This time you are not compelled to add a Header image or Teaser image. You can add them of course, but you don't need to. Be aware, that when you are leave them blank, a fallback image will be shown, when referring to the page via a Picture and Text Teaser, for example.
