A Folder content type is a template that serves as a collection or directory of posts and pages.
In Ibexa it is presented as a folder which containes pages. Inside this folder editors can add all types of pages that are available.
These pages are: Service Page, Generic Page and Post Pages (Events, News, Downloads, Videos and Podcasts).

Usage
A Folder content type is used whenever we have the need to collect multiple posts and pages and show them in main navigation with second level navigation.
One of the examples are Services. Services folder in Ibexa containes multiple Service pages, which represent individual services.
It can also be used for listing and organizing/structuring the content within the content tree. For example as a collection folder for Contacts (employees), Legal pages, but also for sorting images in the media section etc.
Page Structure
As stated in the module's description. Every AHK website page has a Header and a Footer. What is different about them is the modules that are consistent on each page and their purpose in quality storytelling the purpose of the page. The Folder content type is placed inside the main navigation, and it is one of the core menu items holding the website's main content.
